Traeger Shakes are used to season the meat, usually with herbs and spices such as sage, oregano, spicy peppers, and so forth. And there is usually very little discussion surrounding shakes. So just look at the ingredients and pick the shake you think will taste good on what your cooking. Applying a Traeger Shake is easy. But getting the right mix will take a lot of experimenting.
Don't be afraid to experiment! Soon your "experimenting" will become "experience". Then, when some one asks "what kind of shake did you use", you can just narrow your eyes and smirk.
